1 cup butter
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup white syrup
1/2 cup baking soda
1 (12.3 oz) box Crispix cereal
1 (16 oz.) jar dry-roasted peanuts or small pretzels

Combine butter, brown sugar and syrup in medium saucepan. Bring to full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. remove from heat and add baking soda. Stir well. While previous mixture is heating; mix Crispix and nuts together in microwave safe container. Pour boiling mixture over Crispix mixture and stir to coat. Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Stirring every 1 to 1-1/2 minutes. Spread out to cool. Break up. Store in airtight container.

NOTE: May eliminate peanut and add M&M'S® when cool.
