CHRISTMAS HONEY RING 
7 to 12 eggs
1 tbsp. salt
2 lb. flour
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. honey

Mix eggs and salt together, add flour slowly to form soft dough not sticky. On floured surface, put pieces of dough off and roll into long thin strips. Now cut the strips into small pieces of 1/2 inch. Make all pieces the same size so they cook evenly.

Heat 2 quarts oil to boiling. Add 2 to 3 spatulas full of cookies, don't let them stick together, stir constantly, cover 2 to 3 minutes. Should be light brown. Cut into pie and check for doneness, should be soft. As each latch is done put in strainer to drain oil out. When you have cooked and drained all cookies, set aside. Now heat honey until it boils then add cookies, stir until they are evenly covered with honey now put into round pan, form a ring add decorative, colored candy sprinkles to top off your cookie. Cool cover, put in cool spot, not refrigerator, it will dry honey.
