20 x 20 inch sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. chuck steak 1 can whole tomatoes, quartered, reserve liquid 1 lg. jar sliced mushrooms, drained 1 green pepper, sliced thin 1 env. onion soup mix Spread foil in a shallow baking dish and grease with butter. Trim fat from meat and cut into serving size pieces. Arrange meat on foil. Top with mushrooms, green peppers and sprinkle soup mix over all. To reserved tomato liquid, add 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Pour over meat and vegetables. Bring foil up and around meat and vegetable and secure tightly. Bake at 375 degrees for 2 hours. |
