MOLASSES CORN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. whole bran cereal
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. shortening

Stir together cereal, flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add eggs, milk, molasses and shortening. Beat with beater until blended. Turn into greased baking pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
