POPPY SEED CHICKEN | |
4-5 deboned chicken breasts 8 oz. sour cream 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 row Townhouse crackers 1 stick butter 1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seed Cook chicken breasts in 2 cups water for 30 minutes. Remove chicken from water. Slice each piece in half. Place in 12"x9" Pyrex dish (dish should be sprayed with cooking oil spray; Mazola No-Stick, Pam, etc.). Mix together sour cream and soup. Spoon over chicken. Crush Townhouse crackers. Melt butter and mix with crackers. Sprinkle over each piece of chicken. Sprinkle poppy seeds over cracker mixture. Bake, uncovered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
