CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE | |
1 box of Pillsbury, Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker cake mix. (Double Fudge, Chocolate with Sour Cream, Chocolate with Pudding etc., cake mix) 1 sm. pkg. of any brand instant chocolate pudding 1 c. water 1/2 c. vegetable oil 8 oz. real sour cream 4 eggs 6 oz. to 12 oz. bag of Nestles chocolate chips Mix box of cake mix with box of instant pudding. Mix in 1 cup of water. Then add 1/2 cup of oil and mix. Then add 4 eggs and mix. Add 8 ounces of sour cream and mix. Add 6 to 12 ounces of Nestles chocolate chips. Make sure they are Nestles brand. Hint! (Keep chips in freezer until frozen and add to cake mix frozen. Otherwise, chips will melt when cake cooks. Pour cake mix into a Bundt pan that has been sprayed with Pam or greased with shortening. Bake cake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool cake and ice with any ready mix spreadable frosting. |
