CHOCOLATETOWN COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. (12 oz.) Hershey's chips

Cream butter, shortening, brown sugar, sugar, eggs, corn syrup, water and vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt, add to creamed mixture. Beat well. Stir in chips. Drop by level 1/4 cups 3 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-14 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from the cookie sheet.
