BREAKFAST THE NIGHT BEFORE | |
1 lb. sausage meat 1 onion, chopped 6 eggs 2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard 2 to 3 slices of white bread, cubed (enough to cover bottom of baking dish) 1 c. grated sharp cheese Brown onion and sausage meat; drain. Beat eggs, milk, salt, and mustard together. Layer bread cubes, sausage and onions, and cheese in greased 9 x 12 inch pan (greased lightly with butter). Pour egg mixture over top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. Bake in glass casserole dish if possible. Serves 6 to 8. |
