ORANGE TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. ground raisins
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch salt
3 c. flour
Juice of 1 lg. orange

SYRUP:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. orange juice
Pinch salt

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs (one at a time). Stir soda into buttermilk. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk. Stir in vanilla and orange juice. Bake in well greased mini muffin tins 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. As soon as done, dip in syrup.
