SAUERKRAUT 
2 lb. bag sauerkraut
1 lg. apple, peeled and grated
1 onion, diced fine
1/4 c. water (approximate)
1 tsp. caraway seed (or to taste)
2 tbsp. brown sugar (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp. flour

Drain and rinse sauerkraut. Place sauerkraut and next 5 ingredients in pan. Heat to boiling. Add flour, stirring thoroughly. Reduce heat, simmer 20 minutes.
