RUM BALLS | |
1 (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels 3 tbsp. white corn syrup 1/2 c. rum (or bourbon) 2 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 c. nuts, finely chopped Melt chocolate over hot (not boiling) water. Remove from heat and add syrup and rum. Combine crushed vanilla wafers, powdered sugar and nuts. Add chocolate mixture and mix well. Let stand about 30 minutes. Form in 1 inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Yield: approximately 4 1/2 dozen. Store in tightly covered container. |
