6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels 1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. light corn syrup 1/3 c. rum 2 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers 1 c. finely chopped pecans or walnuts Powdered sugar Melt chocolate morsels over hot water. Remove and stir in sugar and syrup. Blend in rum. Combine wafer crumbs and nuts. Add chocolate mixture and blend well. Form into 1 inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Let ripen in a covered container for several days. Makes 4 1/2 dozen. |
