RUM BALLS 
2 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers (approximately 1 box)
1 c. finely chopped pecans
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. dark rum
granulated sugar
2 bags Wilton Candy Melts (chocolate)

Use food processor to crush vanilla wafers and pecans.

Combine cookie crumbs, pecans, powdered sugar and cocoa. Stir in corn syrup and rum. Form into 1/2 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Allow to rest 1 hour. If mixture becomes dry add a few drops of rum.

Melt candy melts according to package directions for double boiler. Use only one bag at a time. Dip rum balls in chocolate. Place on wax paper to cool. Store tightly covered.

Yield: 8 dozen.
