RUM BALLS 
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. rum (or more, if desired)
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 c. crushed vanilla wafers (44 of them)
1 c. ground walnuts

Melt chips in pan over low heat, or melt in the microwave. Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar, rum and corn syrup. Fold in the wafers and ground nuts. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar. Store in airtight container. Makes about 4 dozen.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
