GOOD LEMON MERINGUE PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour, loose
2 c. milk
1/4 stick butter
3 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. lemon juice

Mix together flour, salt, sugar in top of double boiler. Add 1 cup milk slowly and stir until blended. Stir in beaten egg yolks, butter and remaining milk. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture begins to thicken, then add lemon juice and cook until stiff. Remove from heat. Let cool. Fill baked 9 inch pie shell with filling. Cover with meringue and bake until golden brown.
