HOBO BREAD 
2 c. raisins
2 c. boiling water
4 tsp. baking soda

Combine in large bowl; cover and let stand overnight.

4 c. flour
2 scant c. sugar
4 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. salt

Add to raisins mixture. Bake in three (1 pound) greased and floured coffee cans for 1 hour and 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

NOTE: Perfect for back-packing trips, if left whole; or for picnics.
