Place the turkey in a roaster after removing giblets. Place giblets in roaster. Salt and pepper, the bird and add 2 quarts water. Place roaster in oven. Bake a frozen turkey longer than defrosted bird. Bake until wings and legs move loosely or will come off. If you do not have a roaster use foil in a pan.
