SWEDISH MEAT BALLS 
2 lbs. beef, ground fine
1 lb. pork
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 sm. grated onion
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. allspice, optional

Combine ingredients and mix well. Place in refrigerator for an hour. Shape into balls. Brown in frying pan.

Place meat balls in roaster and cover with water. Steam for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Remove meat balls and make gravy. Sour cream, sweet cream, or cream of mushroom soup may be added to gravy.
