AMISH FRIENDSHIP BREAD 
STARTER:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk

Let stand at room temperature for 10 days in covered container.

Day 1: Do nothing.

Day 2-4: Stir once.

Day 5: Pour into large bowl with lid. Add:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk

Stir together.

Day 6-9: Stir once.

Day 10: Add:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk

Stir.

Pour into 3 containers (1 cup per container). Give 3 friends one container with directions and keep one for yourself.

BREAD RECIPE:

2/3 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Add all liquid ingredients to mixture. Sift dry ingredients together; add to mixture. Mix well. Add any 3 fruits (bananas, dates, fresh strawberries, pineapple, apples, blueberries, raisins), 1/2 cup nuts. Stir into batter.

Pour into 2 large pans or 4 small ones that have been buttered and sugared. Bake at 350 degrees. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans. (Use any amount of fruit.)
