PEAR WALNUT SALAD 
DRESSING:

1/2 c. oil
3 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. salt

SALAD:

4 c. lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
1 pear, cored, chopped or sliced
1/4 c. toasted walnut halves
2 oz. crumbled blue cheese

In a jar with a tight fitting lid, combine all dressing ingredients. Shake until well blended and all sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate to blend flavors.

In a large bowl combine all salad ingredients.

Just before serving pour dressing over salad, toss to coat. Makes 4 servings.
