CHOCOLATE PEANUT CLUSTERS
4 oz. sweet chocolate, any good brand (I like Nestle's)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. Nestle's Semi-Sweet chocolate bits
1/2 oz. household paraffin wax
1 lb. roasted peanuts

Put the wax, chocolate, and chocolate bits in a very heavy sauce pot on stove at very low heat and stir well until all is melted and smooth. Add peanuts and stir well.

Spoon the mixture onto wax paper by spoonful - a small spoon for small clusters and a larger spoon for large clusters. Spoon from the bottom up to keep chocolate from settling. Cool several hours or overnight until firm.

Chocolate Peanut Clusters

 Sandy Berger says:
Instead of using wax, try using six squares of vanilla bark, 12 oz. chocolate chips, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and a jar of roasted peanuts. Add the vanilla after the choc melts and then peanuts immediately. No need for cooling. They set up quickly.

Thank you for posting this cluster recipe!!! I have been looking for a recipe with paraffin in it since mom passed. I could not remember the amounts but knew what she used. My father would not give me her recipe. She always made them at Christmas and died young I never asked for the recipe from her wish I would have. I prayed before looking this year!!! little miracles renew my faith!! God is so good!!!
