3 doz. baked cookies
1 (1 lb.) pkg. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. shortening
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. Kahlua
2 tsp. light corn syrup

Charmers in every way. Using your favorite recipe, make gingerbread people. Cool. Beat remaining ingredients well (or combine in a food processor) to make the frosting. If desired, tint with food coloring. Pipe it to decorate cookies. If you prefer a frosting, you can spread; just increase the Kahlua by 1 or 2 tablespoons. Can be made in advance and frozen.
