POT ROAST MEAT LOAF FOR SIX | |
1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef 1/2 c. milk 1/3 c. seasoned bread crumbs 1/4 c. catsup Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Shape into a loaf in the center of a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Peel and halve 3 large potatoes and a large onion. Peel and halve 4 large carrots. Place vegetables around meat. Sprinkle with salt and parsley flakes. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 60 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer to brown meat. Serves 6. You can, of course, change the amounts of vegetables to suit your own family's preferences. |
