CHICKEN AND RICE WITH SHREDDED
MUSHROOM SAUCE
 
2 cut up chickens
1 c. rice (long grain)
1 pkg. onion soup mix
3/4 c. orange juice
1/4 c. sherry
1 can mushroom soup

Put rice into 9 x 12 baking dish. Place chicken on top of rice. Mix together mushroom soup, sherry, and orange juice and pour over chicken. Sprinkle dry onion soup on top.

Cover and bake 2 hours at 325 degrees. Remove cover and bake additional 15 minutes. Serves 6-8.
