CHIPPED BEEF 
1 sm. jar Armour dried beef
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk

Chop beef into 1 inch pieces. Melt butter in saucepan. Saute beef in butter for about 5 minutes. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Remove pan from heat. Stir in milk. Return to heat. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Serve over biscuits or toast.

Variation: Country Gravy

Substitute 1 pound ground sausage, use drippings instead of butter.
