BOURBON BALLS 
1 pkg. vanilla wafers or graham crackers
2 tbsp. cocoa (optional)
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. Old Forester bourbon, 100 proof
3 tbsp. white corn syrup

In a bowl mix crumbs, cocoa, powdered sugar, bourbon, nuts and corn syrup. Mix well. Shape into 4 balls. Refrigerate 30 minutes loosely covered. Remove each ball from refrigerator. Roll into logs and cut to size required for each ball. Roll again in some powdered sugar. Refrigerate to mellow about two days. Take two before bedtime (can last many months).
