MATT'S FRESH APPLE CAKE | |
2 c. self-rising flour 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. salt 4 c. finely chopped juicy Delicious Apples 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. nuts 1/2 c. soft Parkay 2 eggs 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. 2. Grease a 13x9x2 baking pan. 3. In a very large bowl sift flour, sugar, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. 4. Add apples, vanilla, raisins, nuts, butter and eggs. Mix until just combined. It will be thick. 5. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour or until top springs back when lightly pressed. |
