ITALIAN MEAT SAUCE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef, browned
1 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
1 bay leaf

Put all ingredients in crock-pot. Stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours.
