MARZETTI 
4 oz. pkg. noodles, cooked as directed
2 tbsp. shortening
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped finely
1 green pepper
1 can mushrooms, juice and stem pieces
1 can condensed cream of tomato soup
6 oz. tomato paste
1/3 c. water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
1/2 tbsp. oregano
Salt and pepper to taste

Melt shortening and brown ground beef. Add onions, green pepper and mushrooms. Add seasoning. Combine tomato soup, paste, water and Worcestershire sauce. Place layer of noodles and layer of meat. Cover with sauce and cheese, repeat. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 6 to 8.
