POPPY SEED DRESSING 
In mixer bowl combine:

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt

Add 1 teaspoon grated onion; stir. Add 1 cup salad oil, gradually beat with electric beater until thick. Stir in 1 tablespoon poppy seed. Store covered in refrigerator. Makes 1 3/4 cups dressing.
