BANANA NUT BREAD | |
2/3 c. Crisco oil 2 1/2 c. sifted flour 1 2/3 c. sugar 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 1/4 c. mashed fully ripe bananas 2/3 c. buttermilk 2 eggs 2/3 c. chopped walnuts or pecans Mix thoroughly all ingredients; bake in floured pans (a bundt pan or you can use two 8 inch pans for a layer cake). Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes until done. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans. |
