1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c. oil
1/4 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 egg

In large bowl, stir in all ingredients together until well mixed. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool on sheet 1 minute and remove to rack to thoroughly cool. Yield 3 dozen.
