MERINGUE KISSES 
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Beat egg whites until very stiff and dry. While beating, add cream of tartar and sugar; slowly fold in chocolate chips, nuts, and vanilla. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet; drop by teaspoons and put into oven at 275 to 300 degrees for 25 minutes or preheat oven to 300 degrees. Put pan in oven, turn it off and leave overnight.
