PUFFED RICE BALLS 
1 pkg. puffed rice cereal
2 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
1 c. light Karo syrup
4 tbsp. vinegar

In pan, put all except puffed rice: put on slow heat and stir occasionally until melted, then boil until firm string forms when tried in cold water. Add 4 tablespoons butter, let stand until butter is melted (do not stir). Pour over puffed rice, stirring it in, to cover all the rice. Wash hands, rinsing with cold water. Butter fingers and form rice mixture into balls.
