1/2 c. flour 1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs 1/4 tsp. tarragon leaves 1/4 tsp. chives 1/4 tsp. parsley flakes 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper 1/8 tsp. garlic salt 3 to 4 lbs. frying chicken, cut in pieces Planters oil Mix together flour, bread crumbs, tarragon, chives, parsley, pepper and garlic salt. Wash chicken and pat dry. Coat chicken pieces with flour mixture in large fry pan. Heat about 1 inch Planters oil to 400 degrees. Fry chicken pieces until golden brown, about 8 to 10 minutes. Turn pieces and continue frying until evenly brown and tender. Remove chicken from oil and drain. 4 to 6 servings. |
