CHERRY PUDDING 
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. sour cherries, drained

Beat sugar and egg together until light; add milk, melted butter and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture and beat well. Fold in cherries.

Bake in a greased and floured 9x13-inch pan at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. May be served with milk poured on top.
