BLONDE BROWNIES 
1 c. butter
2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat; add sugar and stir until dissolved. Add eggs and vanilla; continue beating until smooth, scraping sides of saucepan. Stir in flour and salt just until blended.

Fold in chocolate chips. Spread in 9x13 greased and floured pan.

Bake 30 minutes at 350°F for about 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean (there may be some fudgy bits on toothpick). Do not overbake.

Cool partially in pan on wire rack before cutting in squares.

Approximately 8-12 servings.
