GREAT GREAT BUTTER CRUNCH 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 c. finely chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Melt butter over low heat and add sugar. Bring to boil, stirring constantly until mixture reaches 290 degrees. Remove from heat, stir in nuts. Pour into 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan. Do not spread to edges. Melt chocolate chips, spread over candy. Chill until chocolate is set. Break in pieces, store in refrigerator in airtight container.
