AUNT BETTY BLACK'S PINEAPPLE PIE 
Pastry for 2 crust pie
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 #2 can crushed pineapple, including juice

Cook sugar, salt, cornstarch, and pineapple in a saucepan over medium heat; stir constantly until thickened. Boil one minute. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate. Quickly cover with top crust which has slits cut in it. Bake at 425 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Delicious!
