3/4 stick butter 1/3 c. sugar 1/4 c. molasses 1 tsp. ground orange rind 1/4 c. finely chopped toasted almonds 1 2/3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cardamom 1/4 tsp. cloves Cream butter, sugar and molasses. Add rind and nuts. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Chill. Roll very thin and cut into shapes. Bake 350 degrees for 7 minutes. |
