P.R. RICE AND BEANS EZ WAY 
2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo (ceci beans)
2 bell peppers, chunky
5 to 6 jalapeno peppers or 1 Hungarian wax (want to add zest, not deaden tongue)
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can lentil beans
4 medium onions, chunky
4 pressed cloves of garlic
1 qt. drained tomatoes
1 lb. each chopped meat, hot sausage and pepperoni
1 - 2 lbs. white rice

(Pepperoni needs to be cubed.)

1. Cook all meat together; drain and reserve liquid for rice.

2. Add garlic, onions, and all peppers.

3. When #2 ingredients are limp, add sauces, tomatoes, and beans; simmer about 3 hours.

If you want even easier, cook meat, reserve liquid, put in a slow cooker, and add rest of ingredients (except rice) and simmer low for 5 to 6 hours.

4. Almost ready. Now, rice. Cook rice per direction but substitute reserved liquid and grease for part of it. You do not need any oil since you already have from meat. Sometimes I'll add a bouillon cube if not enough meat flavor. Cook rice until tender, then dish up and place meat mixture in center, you garnish with cilantro, olives, etc.
