DOOGIE STEW | |
1/2 lb. hot dogs 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes 3 c. water 3 beef bouillon cubes 2 lg. potatoes, cubed 2 med. onions, diced 3 med. carrots, diced 2 stalks celery, diced 1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes Simmer the above ingredients until vegetables are almost tender. Add 1/2 pound hot dogs, cut into 1 inch pieces. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Mix enough water and 3 tablespoons flour and 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme to make a smooth paste, then stir this into the stew until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Makes 4-5 servings. |
