MEXICAN HONEYMOON COOKIES | |
I have made these every Christmas for 40 years! They don't last long! 1/2 lb. butter 3 tbsp. powdered sugar 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. all purpose flour (can add an additional 1/4 c. if dough is too moist) 1 c. walnuts, chopped very fine Sift flour before measuring. Cream butter a little in mixer, add sugar, vanilla and flour. Mix. Add nuts, mix slowly or by hand. Roll into 1 inch balls and bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. |
