BREAD AND BUTTER PICKLES 
7 c. cucumbers sliced very thin (not peeled)
1 c. green pepper, diced thin
1 c. onions, sliced thin
1 tsp. salt

Mix together - let stand one hour - then drain.

Add:

2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed

Warm ingredients then mix, put all ingredients in jars. Refrigerate in pints or quarts. Let stand in refrigerator for 3 days. Makes 4 pints. Keeps for months.
