BRAN MUFFINS 
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. bran
1/2 c. raisins or blueberries
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 c. molasses or honey
3/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. soft butter or shortening

Put together dry ingredients and raisins and moisten with egg and molasses or honey, milk and shortening. Stir only enough to blend. Bake in well greased muffin tins at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
