3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 oz. baking chocolate
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa

Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Melt butter and chocolate and add to flour mixture. Add milk, vanilla and beat until smooth.

Pour into 8 or 9 inch square pan. Combine sugars and cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour 1 cup hot strong coffee over all. Bake 350 degrees, 40 minutes.
