SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. sour cream

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time; cream well. Add flour, one cup at a time. Mix soda, salt and vanilla with first cup of flour; cream into mixture. Then add 8 ounces sour cream; mix. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Bake cake in large tube pan.
