CHEESE CUT OUTS | |
1/2 c. butter, softened 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 c. whole wheat flour 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda Cream butter and cheese until smooth. Mix remaining ingredients together and add half at a time to creamed mixture, blending well. Shape into a flattened ball, cover and chill until dough handles easily, 45 minutes in freezer or overnight in refrigerator. Roll out between layers of waxed paper or on a floured board to 1/2" thickness. Using a biscuit cutter or cookie cutters to form whatever shape that suit your fancy. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 3 dozen. |
