BARBECUE SAUCE AND CHIPPED HAM | |
1 lb. chipped ham 4 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. water 4 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 8 tbsp. catsup Paprika to color Heat chipped ham in skillet with tablespoon butter. Mix the above barbecue sauce mixture; heat and pour over chipped ham. Mix together thoroughly. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Serve on plain or toasted bun. |

- some finely diced raw onion
- substitute brown sugar for the white sugar
- increase the dried mustard a bit
- dashes of cayenne pepper, black pepper and garlic powder to taste.
Might just be easier to just use your favorite BBQ sauce, as I didn't see anything special here specifically designed to enhance the ham.
