2 cans Progresso crushed tomatoes (28 oz.)
1 Shop-Rite whole tomatoes (28 oz.)
1 Redpack whole tomatoes (28 oz.)
3 Del Monte tomato sauce (8 oz.)
3 Progresso tomato paste (6 oz.)
2 Hunts tomato paste (6 oz.)
4 cloves garlic
2 lg. onions
1/2 to 1 lg. pepper
1 1/2 lbs. sweet sausage
1/4 c. peanut oil
3 tsp. basil
2 tbsp. oregano
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. garlic powder
3 bay leaves

In LARGE pot heat oil. Add minced onions and garlic. Put in sausage and peppers. Brown sausage and cook onions, garlic and pepper until tender.

In large bowl put in all cans of tomatoes. With whole tomatoes squish with hands. Mix in seasonings. Stir well and taste. Season to suit your taste.

Pour tomato mixture into pot with onions/sausage/garlic and peppers. Bring to quick boil. Then reduce heat to low/warm and simmer for approximately 6 to 7 hours with cover on. Stir occasionally.
